Luminate: A Bright New Theme

We’re super happy to announce that we’ve added a new design. Luminate officially joins the DevPress theme family!

Luminate is designed with small business in mind. It features a page showcase layout where you can easily highlight services on the home page with eye-catching images and text. You can also display important information like a phone number, hours, or location in the top bar of every page.

Features

Luminate offers a range of customizable options. There are three menu locations, an option to upload a custom logo, several different home page and internal layout options, and an optional field to display a custom message in the top bar. You can modify site highlight colors and upload your own background. Luminate also comes with a smart footer that will expand from one to three columns you add more widgets.

Like our recent themes, each of the menu areas support social icons. On mobile devices, the main navigation collapses into an off-canvas menu and is available with a quick tap.

Speed

It’s important that our themes are fast, and Luminate is no exception. No heavy frameworks, scripts, or images— the code is clean and avoids bloat. All assets are also minified by Grunt for small file sizes.

Different Styles

We think this theme will work great for websites in a wide range of fields. It can be used for professional services like accounting, architecture, dentistry and law.

It can be used for companies in involved in trades, like plumbing, electrical, general contracting or landscaping.

And more…

It would also work great for hair salons, coffee shops, and pre-schools. I’m sure you get the idea… it’s an incredibly versatile theme!

It currently limits to 5, but that would be an easy change to make- I’ll push it out in the next update. I’m concerned the UI in the customizer starts to be confusing when there are unused options (for someone who only wants to use 5), but I can address that in a later release. Thanks for the feedback!

  1. Loved the small detailing about this theme. I intend to open another health and skin care related website. will this theme be applicable for that sort of websites??
