Ambience is an advance theme designed for blogging, photo-blogging, and portfolio showcasing. It’s built on Hybrid Core 2.0, meaning its code is powerful, modular, and probably more future-proofed than anything else in the theme’s market. Additionally, it’s self-aware, responsive, and supports RTL users.
The design attempts to bridge long form blogs and photo-blogs. The front page features photos, but texts and other elements for each article aren’t neglected at all. And when combined with tabs via Justin Tadlock’s Whistles plugin, it gives you a unique experience reading long form articles. See example here.
Ambience is inspired by Ambiance Pro theme from StudioPress. I tried to expand on the original concept and added features/details where needed.
