WordPress is a great option for small business websites. However, if you’ve never set up one before there’s quite a bit to learn all at once.

In this video, I’m going to focus specifically on building a website for a small business in the services or trade sector. This would be companies that offer services like landscaping, plumbing, roofing, construction, and electrical.

These types of sites likely all have a few things in common. They need to list services, display contact information, establish credibility, show examples of work, and establish expertise.

In this video I’ll how to set up basic pages, configure your menus, insert images, explain how widgets work, install a contact form, and few other things that may be helpful for setting up your site.

I’ll be using the theme Luminate in the video, but a lot of this information will be applicable to any WordPress theme.
